Haune was 23 years old when he staged his first musical in London`s West End.

When he staged Terje Vigen in London (2007), he became the first Norwegian ever to have staged two of his own musical-productions in Londons prestigious musical capital.

The live-recorded radio-version of Kjell-Ole Haunes musical "TONIGHT", as it was originally broadcast on NRK and EBU broadcastingstations.

It was performed by an international cast, a 100 people strong choir and The Radio Symphony Orchestra - Kringkastingsorkestret.

TONIGHT - Synopsis

The story is set in current time, but in an imaginary conflict area with a strong parallel to today. We follow the story of a group of friends, whos lives are torn a part by confilicts of war.

The story reflects on the aspects of how we have become spectators of conficts around the world thorugh our television and social media.

The story told, could infact be happening somewhere around the world, Tonight.

 

Watching TV

We are brought into the story through the life and work of the reporter Thomas Bridge, (Stig Krogstad) working for CNBN, in Kortania.

He can not help but becoming personal involved in the incidents following the people meets, through his work as a reporter.
